Continuous cyber capability · One topic at a time

The cyber capacity you’re missing.
Without hiring.

A customer security questionnaire due, an audit coming up, a CISO already at full capacity? We take the topic on, check it over time and move the actions forward — with no extra tool to run and no one-off engagement to chase.

Expertise sized for you

No need to outsource everything.
Only what you’re missing.

Whether you have no CISO or your team is already at full capacity, you choose exactly which topics to hand over to us.

Inspired by the OODA loop

Observing is not enough.
The distance to action has to shrink.

Our approach links continuous checks, understanding of risk, the client’s decision and verification of results. AI speeds up the analysis, our experts validate it; your teams stay in charge of the changes.

  1. 01 / Observe

    Monitor

Targeted continuous audit. Checks, gaps, evidence, changes and alerts on a defined scope.

  2. 02 / Orient

    Advise

Contextual analysis. Prioritised risks, substantiated recommendations, remediation scenarios.

  3. 03 / Decide

    Drive

Follow-through. Action plans, coordination and reminders; trade-offs stay with the client.

  4. 04 / Act

    Enabling action

Yours to act. We prepare the means, find the skills or train your teams.

What we cover

On these topics, you can count on us.

A precise scope, fitting checks and the deliverables you agree on. Pick your priority topic, then the level of support; extend when you need to.

Cyber governance

Security needs a heading, priorities and follow-up, even without an in-house CISO.

Posture, roadmap, indicators, risks and proposed trade-offs.

Steer your cybersecurity
Cyber compliance

Compliance is built and demonstrated over time, not the night before an audit.

NIS 2, DORA, GDPR: applicable requirements, evidence and gaps.

Demonstrate your compliance
AI security

Controls have to evolve as fast as the uses of AI.

Uses, AI applications, risks and targeted controls.

Govern your AI uses
Third-party cyber risk (TPRM)

A critical supplier is part of your perimeter: its risk is managed from selection to exit.

Third-party inventory and criticality, due diligence, contract clauses, continuous monitoring and exit plans.

Control your critical third parties
Customer requirements & tenders

Commercial trust rests on commitments you can demonstrate.

Questionnaires, guarantees, evidence and cyber commitments.

Answer clients with evidence
SOC / MDR oversight

Having a SOC does not prove the relevant threats are detected.

Quality, coverage and effectiveness of existing set-ups.

Measure what your SOC detects
External attack surface

Exposure changes: keeping it under control takes regular checks.

Exposed assets, vulnerabilities, changes and remediation.

See what you expose
Vulnerability management

A known, untreated vulnerability is a risk accepted without knowing it.

Internal scans, prioritisation by exposure and exploitability, remediation deadlines and re-checks.

Fix within deadlines that hold
Identity and access (IAM / IAG)

An account that outlives its holder’s departure is a door left open.

Identity life cycle, roles and entitlements, strong authentication, access reviews run with the business.

Know who can access what
Privileged access and secrets (PAM)

An attacker is not after your data first: they are after an administrator account.

Dedicated administration accounts, bastion, just-in-time access, secrets out of code and keys managed over their whole life cycle.

Protect the access that opens everything
Data security

You can only protect well the data you know the whereabouts of.

Inventory and classification of sensitive data, encryption at rest and in transit, isolated backups and tested restores, controlled retention and deletion.

Protect your sensitive data
Documents and compliance as code

A versioned, tested policy stays current; a frozen PDF goes stale.

Versioned policies and procedures, requirements and controls as code, evidence generated and checked on every change.

Version your policies
Security by design

A flaw avoided at design costs less than one fixed in production.

Security requirements, threat modelling, architecture reviews and acceptance criteria.

Build security in from design
Code security

Finding a flaw is not enough: it has to be fixed and the fix verified.

Code, dependencies, secrets and proposed fixes.

Fix the flaws in your code
AI-assisted development

Speed of delivery has to come with fitting controls.

Risks of development workflows and the matching controls.

Govern AI-written code
Pentests & configuration audits

A technical audit is worth its scoping and the gaps it closes, not the report alone.

Penetration tests and configuration audits (Microsoft 365, OS and server hardening): scoping, choice of provider, consolidated findings and tracked fixes.

Scope and follow up your audits
Crisis, incidents and continuity

A plan that has never been rehearsed does not hold on the day of the crisis.

Business impact analysis (BIA), crisis and incident management, business continuity and recovery plans, exercises and lessons learned.

Exercise your crisis plans
Cyber insurance and incident response

On the day of the incident, neither cover nor reinforcements can be improvised.

The insurer's file and questionnaire, required controls, an incident-response provider under contract, alignment with the insurer's panel and crisis contacts.

Prepare cover and response
A simple, modular model

One topic. The right level of support.

Three levels of support and three complementary options, switched on topic by topic as you need them.

Level 01

Monitor

Targeted continuous audit

We watch and document gaps on an agreed scope and set of checks.

  • Recurring automated checks
  • Findings, evidence and history
  • Alerts and reporting
You get the evidence; you decide what comes next.
Level 03

Drive

Move remediation forward

We run the follow-up of decided actions, without making changes in your systems.

  • Everything in Advise
  • Action plan, deadlines and reminders
  • Coordination and verification
Your teams deliver; we hold the course through to verification.

Skill Boost

We pass it on. Your teams practise.

Hands-on workshops on your tools and real cases, to learn to apply, verify and repeat the right moves on your own.

See how a workshop runs

Short workshops tied directly to your Monitor findings and Advise recommendations. An expert guides you; your team does the exercise and leaves with a repeatable method.

  1. A real case A vulnerability, a check, a procedure or an obligation you actually face.
  2. Guided practice Your teams work hands-on in an authorised or suitable test environment.
  3. Verified autonomy A repeatable exercise, a key-moves sheet and the points to watch.

Examples: reading an exposure scan, triaging a SAST result, keeping an evidence register, understanding a SOC/MDR rule.

  • … Sylvan was able to deliver more than what was expected of him.

Our CAC 40 client was looking for us to drive a security transformation at group level. Our lead consultant was engaged, so we were looking to deliver this from our partner network. Sylvan’s wealth of experience in this area made him an immediate first choice. He was responsible for scoping and building the cyber security governance strategy for our customer. We had excellent feedback throughout the project, and Sylvan was able to deliver more than what was expected of him. I expect to use his services again, and would highly recommend him on a personal and professional level.

In plain terms

The essential questions.

Precise commitments and no ambiguity about who decides and who acts.

Is this an outsourced CISO?

Cyber governance can contribute to that role, but every engagement is defined by domain and by level. We do not automatically take on all of a CISO’s responsibilities.

Who makes the fixes?

Your teams or the providers you engage. We can prepare Action Kits, help bring in specialists through Expert Connect or pass on skills through Skill Boost. Your teams or providers decide on the changes and carry them out.

What does a Skill Boost workshop include?

A targeted hands-on workshop built on your tools and cases: scenario preparation, guided practice in an authorised or, where needed, isolated environment, reusable material and an exercise to check what was learnt. It aims at your teams’ autonomy, with no changes made in production by StratOps.

Do we have to replace our current tools?

No. The service can rely on deterministic open-source tools and integrate with your existing solutions, depending on the connectors and access available.

Does continuous checking mean real time?

Not necessarily. The frequency can be event-driven, daily, weekly or monthly depending on the check and the contractual scope.

What role does artificial intelligence play?

Agents help with correlation, analysis and preparing deliverables. Factual checks rely as far as possible on deterministic tools and evidence; sensitive recommendations may need human review.

Human expertise, AI-assisted

Fewer forgotten reports.
More actions moving forward.

Experts, AI-assisted checks and hands-on workshops: you stay in control and your teams grow more autonomous.
